About the Artist

A lifelong lover of art, my artistic journey began as a way to relax and explore creativity after three decades in the Key West hotel industry. The vibrant colors of Key West, its distinctive conch architecture, and iconic roosters remain strong influences on my work, while my new home on Florida’s Gulf Coast contributes lush landscapes, shifting light, and abundant wildlife to my palette. Travel continues to fuel fresh ideas; I’m especially drawn to blue skies, bold color, and whatever speaks to me in the moment. We all see color differently, and while my style often leans toward photorealism, my eye interprets hues a little more vibrantly and expressively. Self-taught, I’m an active member of several art leagues including the Fort Myers Beach Art Association, Lehigh Acres Art League, and North Fort Myers Arts Association, where I deeply value camaraderie, shared inspiration, and continual learning. Being part of a vibrant artistic community keeps my practice evolving, energized, and open to new approaches. Wherever you live, I encourage you to support your local arts and culture, knowing that in doing so, you are investing in the cultural, economic, and social well-being of your community.
